About me

My name is Riley, and I am a registered dietitian on a mission to help individuals and family systems build an empowering relationship with food and body. I believe that nutrition can be simple, accessible, and intuitive.

My approach is grounded in health at every size, respecting the inherent diversity of body shapes and sizes and rejecting the idealizing or pathologizing of specific body weights. I use a holistic approach to eating disorder recovery and wellbeing by incorporating respectful care and collaboration with my clients, using evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education, intuitive eating, food exposure challenges, goal setting, coordinating care with your healthcare team, and meeting you where you are at.

Outside of Flourishment Nutrition, you can find me backpacking through the forest, exploring hikes near and far, snowboarding in the winter, or practicing lyra (aerial hoop).

"I have been working with Riley for a while now, and have been so incredibly grateful for the genuine care and kindness I have received from her. It can be really scary to reach out and get help for disordered eating, and it's still so worth it. I've never felt put down or shamed for my size or eating in this space, and only encouraged to keep moving towards kindness and care for myself. Riley has always met me right where I am and worked with me to take steps forward towards recovery. She is really good about working with other members of my care team as well and works really hard to coordinate with them when it is indicated to make sure I'm getting the care I need. I will be forever grateful for the work we've done together here!"
